Go east on Ozumba Mbadiwe (becomes Lekki Expressway). Pass Mobil House and head towards Lekki Market (8 km from Mobil). Continue east and pass Victoria Garden City (14 km from Mobil). At 46.5 km, you will come to an old filling station on the right. Take a right (following the signs that say "Eleko beach"). Follow the road down to the end, where you will come to a tollgate. Entrance fee is 20 naira per person and (now) 20 naira per car (we should protest). Do not feed the cops - they will just bother more tourists next time. You now have two choices of routes (below).

The easy route: Turn right after the tollgate and then immediately left. This will lead directly to the beach. Turn right at the beach and go down about 2 km until you see the Butt-Hut sign on the left.

The quick route: Turn right after the tollgate and go straight. You will pass one small village (5 or 6 buildings along the road), and then another. Just at the end of the second village, turn left on a road that meanders back into the "bush". You will come out right on the beach. Take a right and go down about 100 meters. Stop when you see the Butt-Hut sign on the left. You have arrived!
